Everyone in Portland is walking around with these fancy cold pressed juices but they are lacking one important ingredient. PROTEIN! Hey, I’m all for fruit and veggies too, but with no protein you’re basically sipping on a very expensive cup o’ sugar! Plus, why would you want to waste all that precious fiber by juicing? I say pulverize the hell out of it in your Vitamix instead! 👌🏼
Time Saver Alert!
We all know I like to make my time in the kitchen efficient right? Gather up all fruits, veggies, and spices and stuff into a ziplock sandwich bag for individual servings that are ready to go each morning. Don’t forget the protein powder & fresh lemon juice can be added after blended. Otherwise you’ll end up with overly fluffy juice that won’t fit into one blender bottle.
Power Green Juice[print-me do_not_print=".emoji"]
The Green Ingredients:
- 2 celery stalks
- 1 cup spinach
- 1/4 cup pineapple
- 1/4 of a large cucumber
- Squirt of ginger paste
- Tsp turmeric
- Lot o’ fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup water
The Power Ingredients // 2nd Step:
- 1 scoop of Devotion protein powder
🍋 Blend all the above goodness in a Vitamix until fully pulverized. (You can use another blender but I’m biased towards my Vitamix 😉)
🍋 After blended, pour into a shaker bottle & add 1 scoop of Devotion protein powder, -and shake. Otherwise the Vitamix causes the drink to become too fluffy.
🍋 I paired mine with avocado toast but it’s not pictured cause that shit is good and I ate it too fast! 😂
