#FitTipTuesday – Sick Days

I missed last week because our whole family got hit with a cold…which is why this week I am appropriately talking about working out while sick.
Do you/Don’t you? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤧

Heres my two cents if you care….

Sneezy, sniffly, feelin’ kinda meh 🤔
✅ Moderate to low-intensity exercise if you are in the begging stages of feeling sick. This means no fever!
✅ Try going for walks outside, yoga, light weight lifting with higher reps.
✅ Please try not to expose yourself to too many people, just in case.
✅ Wash your hands like crazy people!!!

Full on sick….I’m talking train wreck edition 😷 😰 🤢💩

❌ Stay inside, lay your butt on the couch, and turn on Netflix!
❌ Don’t risk exposing the whole gym to your virus. The gym is gross enough without your germs. 😂
❌ You will not loose all your hard earned muscle by taking a few rest days to recover.
❌ Don’t let your nutrition slide too much. You body is working hard to fight whatever ickies you’ve got going on. Nourish it and sleep! 🥗🍜
