#FitTipTuesday – Sick Days

I missed last week because our whole family got hit with a cold…which is why this week I am appropriately talking about working out while sick.
Do you/Don’t you? πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ€§

Heres my two cents if you care….

Sneezy, sniffly, feelin’ kinda meh πŸ€”
βœ… Moderate to low-intensity exercise if you are in the begging stages of feeling sick. This means no fever!
βœ… Try going for walks outside, yoga, light weight lifting with higher reps.
βœ… Please try not to expose yourself to too many people, just in case.
βœ… Wash your hands like crazy people!!!

Full on sick….I’m talking train wreck edition 😷 😰 πŸ€’πŸ’©

❌ Stay inside, lay your butt on the couch, and turn on Netflix!
❌ Don’t risk exposing the whole gym to your virus. The gym is gross enough without your germs. πŸ˜‚
❌ You will not loose all your hard earned muscle by taking a few rest days to recover.
❌ Don’t let your nutrition slide too much. You body is working hard to fight whatever ickies you’ve got going on. Nourish it and sleep! πŸ₯—πŸœ
