Did you really think I’d let a Fit Tip Tuesday pass without talking about the importance of meal prep. No way josè’! 💃🏻
Weekly meal prep is an instrumental part of living a healthy lifestyle and giving your body what it needs so it can do what you ask it to do every day; day in and day out. Unfortunately too many people let this crucial component fall by the wayside.
This post is barely scratching the surface, like barely, but hopefully you’ll come away with a few new tricks! 👊🏼🥗🍴
1️⃣ Meal Prep Essentials:
✅ Food scale
✅ Measuring cups
✅ Baking tins
2️⃣ Grocery Shopping/prep day
DO not, I repeat…do not go to the store without a list in hand. Why? Because you’ll end up with a bunch of crap you don’t need that could potentially hinder your success or end up wasted.
Plan out what you want to eat for the week & stick with it!
3️⃣ Start Small
Don’t feel like you have to bust out 5-6 meals right out of the gate. If you suck at eating breakfast or lunch try prepping those meals for 3-4 days. Once you build up your habit you can gradually add more meals/foods to your repertoire. 💫
